Opened nearly 50 years ago, Drago’s is located on Poydras Street just outside the French near the Mississippi river. A lovely airy restaurant, it specialises in fresh seafood cooked and served a few different ways such as fried shrimp and stuffed lobster to a variety of po’boys and even a burger. However, Drago’s has become synonymous with its charboiled oyster, a rare thing since oysters are preferred raw.
