Nearly a hundred years old, Arnaud’s is a classy restaurant located in the heart of French Quarter on Bienville Street. It is among the handful of restaurants that continue to serve classy Creole cuisine. Like other old world establishments in New Orleans, Arnaud’s too has multiple dining rooms, each with its unique decor and furnishing, including antiques and spectacular chandeliers. It also has a classic French bar and a speakeasy, each with its own menu. The Jazz Brunch menu is a favourite for those looking for authentic Creole experience with dishes such as shrimp bisque, seafood gumbo, boudin cakes, shrimp clemenceau, filet mignon served with blue cheese, crepe suzettes and toffee torte. To add to this, there’s often live jazz, as well as a museum on Mardi Gras artefacts.
