It is often voted the best restaurant in Athens and it absolutely lives up to this title, with its splendid and warm service as well as its excellent food. The intimate restaurant offers many choices for seating, including two courtyards and two inside dining rooms. It has two Michelin stars and deservingly so, with a sommelier always on hand as well as capable staff. The location also happens to be amazing, located right next to the Panathenian Marble Stadium, which hosted the first modern Olympics in 1896, and that fact alone makes this restaurant stand out. What else makes it stand out is the food, from veal sweetbreads to crab gelatin to luxurious cheese plates to simple sea bass, which isn’t so simple. It seems the possibilities here are endless. With a massive wine list, it’s not hard to find an incredible wine to pair with all your courses. Open only for dinner, guests can choose a tasting menu or order certain menu items from the a la carte menu, but we highly encourage the tasting menu. Make a reservation well in advance and enjoy one of the best restaurants in all of Athens.
