Junput in West Bengal is a perfect dreamy place for solitude seeker

Junput is one gorgeous offbeat destination in West Bengal (Purba Medinipur district), and many must not be aware of this spots. Set in Midnapore district, this destination is sprinkled with myriad tall and green palm trees swaying their way through the white sandy beaches. Though there is not much to see or do in Junput when it comes to tourists spots, but the beaches and silence here is just more than enough. If you wish to wander a bit more in the region to know more about it, then just 10 km from here is a centuries old Jagannath Dev Temple. The temple is quite revered given the history and values attached to it.

It is quite easy to reach the village of Junput as it is just 40 km from Digha in West Bengal by bus and the town of Contai is only 9 km away. From Kolkata, one can drive to Junput too as it is only about 160 km from here.
