Among the many standout buildings on the Royal Route, the beautiful Visitants’ Church is arresting. Built in Baroque style with Rococo embellishments, the church has a unique boat-shaped pulpit and an air of mysticism that prevails around the interior. It is here that Chopin performed on Sundays as a child. There is usually silence, except during mass, but it is not difficult to imagine the strains of the organ, the same one which Chopin played on Sundays when he was a pupil.
