Croatia is famous for its islands and sailing trips are extremely popular with tourists. There is no better base for these sailing trips than Dubrovnik. Frequent ferries connect neighbouring islands and depart frequently from the harbour in Dubrovnik. Hvar Island is a four-hour ferry ride away—the island occupies prime status as the queen of the Dalmatian Islands and has a lot to offer tourists. In fact it is often said to be one of the ten most beautiful islands in the whole world. But that’s not all—the ferry ride to the island is a whole lot of fun as visitors get to take in stunning coastal panoramas as the ferry floats on Croatia’s trademark blue waters. Once there, let Croatia’s island life seduce you. You can walk between olive groves or explore a local vineyard. Alternatively, you can also sample some Croatian wine and devour fresh homemade bread. Whatever you choose to do, try to spend the majority of the day relishing Hvar’s crystal clear waters at a beach. Just lay down your beach towel or rent a lounger as you laze the weekend away.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
