Don’t we all love Guinness? But how much do we know about this lovely brewed drink? Now the Guinness company is starting something that is being called, behind the gates, at St. James Gate Brewery. This is not the old storehouse visit, but a more in-depth tour that will show you how brewery actually works, and the entire process of it. Exciting isn’t it?
Arthur Guinness was the one to introduce the world to the beer, and the brewery was opened way back in 1759. Though today while drinking a pint at a plush bar someplace, we rarely give it a thought, but Guinness is an incredible slice of history. The behind the gates tour is definitely going to give visitors a lot of perspective regarding the beer, its history, and the process it goes through.
The really cool thing about this tour is that you get access to certain parts of the brewery where even the employees are not permitted to enter. It is going to be a 2-hour long tour, with groups of 12 people visiting Brewhouse 4. Book your place, and have a great time!
