As per the Jammu and Kashmir administration, efforts are being made to highlight Jammu and Kashmir on the international tourist pilgrimage map. As per the Jammu and Kashmir administration, efforts are being made to highlight Jammu and Kashmir on the international tourist pilgrimage map. As this region is replete with several historical religious sites, the administration is of the view that people should be aware of those, and visit this region to know more about them.
The advisor said that since the site is of immense importance, it needs to be developed, so that researchers, tourists, and archaeologists from all around the world can come and benefit from the wide range of artefacts excavated.
Later, he also directed the officers to make sure proper road connectivity to the historical sites are looked upon, besides other conservation measures in and around site. He also directed the tourism department to run suitable campaigns to spread awareness about the historical sites in this region.
