Deep in the Peruvian desert lie these mysterious geoglyphs that have confounded geologists and tourists for ages! They have withstood famines, floods, earthquakes, and so many kinds of natural disasters and remained unchanged through the centuries. This adds to the enigma of the lines. Despite many conjectures, no body really knows why or how the Nazca lines came to be. Some historians insist they are part of an elaborate astrological system made by Incans while others insist they are part of an agricultural matrix. There are also theories that insist they are a result of alien activity.
