As per the latest news reports, authorities have now developed a spot across the Yamuna River, which will be a welcoming surprise for people interested in watching the monument during full moon night. The said new spot has been built in Mehtab Bag for viewing Taj after sunset. This spot was also recently formally inaugurated by Agra Additional Director General (ADG) Ajay Anand.
ADA in association with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has also built a couple of viewing points across the river, which is at the rear of the monument, the spot from where visitors will be able to enjoy the beauty of the iconic building under moonlight.
Reportedly, the decision on ticket rates will soon be taken by the committee. And now the tourism industry is hoping that the facility is opened before the World Tourism Day, i.e., on September 27, when new tourist season begins here.
