One of the most beautiful beaches of the famous Costa Smeralda (Emerald Coast) on the north east of Sardinia, it can be reached from either Olbia or Arzachena. Costa Smeralda is known as the perfect place to enjoy luxury travel, and the area is overall quite expensive. However, access to Capriccioli is free of charge, aside from the parking lot. It is divided in two small coves, both surrounded by thick Mediterranean vegetation. The sand is incredibly fine and white, and the water is an incredibly transparent emerald hue. There are some beautiful rock formations that are fun to climb. The small beach on the left is the one that gets more crowded – although during peak seasons it is hard to get away from the crowd. For a more intimate experience, it is better to go during the middle of June or September.
