There is a catch here, and that this policy has a cap on serving unbottled beer. Therefore, as per the cabinet note, a hotel or a restaurant will have to limit serving up to 600 litres of fresh beer per day. Annually that number can go up to 2.10 lakh litre. And those violating these rules will have to dole out a fine of INR 5000 per day.
