Its distinctive feature lies in the arrangement of its idols, where Sita is positioned to the right of Lord Rama, and Lakshmana to his left, symbolizing their eternal bond.
Ram Janambhoomi Temple, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh
Also known as Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Ram Mandir is set on the banks of the revered Sarayu River. It is believed that the site where the temple is built is the birthplace of Lord Ram. The temple has been in the news for many reasons and was inaugurated in January 2024. The temple draws pilgrims from far and wide. The black idol of Lord Ram is truly a work-of-art!
Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple, Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu
Set on the island of Rameswaram, the Ramanathaswamy Temple is noted for being home to the world's longest corridor! As per mythology, Lord Ram and his wife Sita along with Hanuman, worshipped Lord Shiva here after the victorious battle against Ravana. It is also one of the revered char dham temples in India.
Ram Mandir, Bhubaneswar
Situated in the vibrant city of Bhubaneswar, Odisha, the Ram Mandir is simply divine. The temple is adorned with exquisite statues depicting Lord Ram, his consort Sita, and faithful brother Lakshmana, the temple captivates visitors with its spiritual aura.
Sita Ramachandraswamy Temple, Telangana
The temple, located in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, is dedicated to Lord Rama. It was constructed 400 years ago by King Raghunatha Naicker and is decorated with intricate carvings and paintings depicting scenes from the epic Ramayana.
