Set in the idyllic 1000 ac of Tatton Park and just a 30 min drive from Manchester, the Egerton family home is as remarkable as the landscape in which it is set. Rolling hills, centuries of history in an 18th century neo-classical styled mansion studded with furnishings, painting, tapestries and artefacts, is what you can expect to find. When you’ve had your fill of elegant interiors, the Japanese, Italian or rose gardens are good places in which to relax. The Walled Kitchen Garden offers an insight into how the Egertons and staff were fed in centuries past. The working farm is studded with animals. A deer park—dotted with red and fallow deer on 1000 ac of parkland, is another attraction here that never fails to please.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
