Bosnia and Herzegovina is home to just 20 km of coastline and Neum is the only town situated along the coastline. This makes it extremely popular with sun-seekers and sea worshippers. The town of Neum is just an hour’s drive away from Dubrovnik. This makes it a convenient day trip from Dubrovnik—what’s better than spending some time in a sunny town while checking out another country on your holiday to Croatia? The town of Neum is famous for its predictable sunny weather and it sure lives up to the promise. Beaches here are dotted with loungers and there are lots of restaurants and shacks that serve cocktails and food to beach goers. Neum might be just a short drive away from Dubrovnik, but it is much cheaper than Croatia’s towns. What’s more the sea here is extremely clean and not polluted. The lack of tourists ensures that beaches don’t get too crowded, even on weekends. This makes it the best bet for a day trip.
