Those planning a China trip, there’s good news for them. Very soon IndiGo would start operating regular flights on Delhi-Chengdu route. With this the airline would also make its entry into the Chinese market.
He also mentioned that China is a market with immense potential and holds prominent trade, cultural, and tourism values, and with this, they hope to further strengthen this relation. As of now, besides China, the airline is also operating its flights on five other global routes in Asia.
This will be the first non-stop service between Chengdu and India, and the tickets for sale would be made available as soon as the airline secures "the requisite regulatory approvals".
