South African Cheese Festival

Each spring this four-day culinary experience lets visitors taste their way through tons of cheeses from various exhibitors, with the chance to return home with some yummy purchases. The cheese festival is a good place for exhibitors to promote their new products and receive feedback from shoppers. Visitors can find well-known chefs demonstrating in the kitchen, have the chance to see the first steps of making cheese, and taste the fresh milk of cattle, goat, and sheep, and complementing their cheese purchases with fresh fruit, nuts, wine and bread. The festival is held on the Western Cape of South Africa between Paarl and Franschhoek.
