Gujarat has become a top destination for domestic and international tourists, thanks to its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. Under Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s leadership, infrastructure advancements have boosted the state’s tourism sector, attracting more visitors. During the 2024 Diwali holiday period, from October 26 to November 15, 61.70 lakh tourists visited 16 major destinations and pilgrimage sites across Gujarat.
Statue of Unity
The world’s tallest statue, the Statue of Unity, stands at 182 meters and is dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Located near Kevadia, it offers panoramic views, a museum, and sound-and-light shows, making it a marvel of engineering and patriotism.
Atal Bridge
A striking pedestrian bridge over the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad, Atal Bridge features vibrant architecture and stunning LED lighting, offering a scenic spot for leisurely strolls and photo opportunities.
Riverfront Flower Park
Nestled along the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad, this park boasts vibrant floral displays and themed gardens. It’s a peaceful spot for nature lovers and an excellent venue for family outings.
Kankaria Lake
A historic lake in Ahmedabad, Kankaria offers a lively atmosphere with attractions like boating, a zoo, a toy train, and the colorful Kankaria Carnival, held annually in December.
Pavagadh Temple
