Malaysia is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. During one of our trips to Malaysia, I happened to explore the North Eastern region of Malaysian Peninsula, the one that borders the South China Sea and even has some islands in South China Sea that are fast emerging as the popular tourist destinations. These are lesser explored places that make for a perfect holiday. South China Sea is full of colourful corals and aquatic life to explore. Beaches here are some of the best you would see in the world. The new mosques coming up in Kuala Terengganu are the new modern wonders being created. The beaches of Terengganu are quaint and peaceful with Tonga rides and kites to fly. The markets here are buzzing with Batik and other handmade products while the one sided rickshaws are a spectacle in themselves.
