After the play, grab a late night burger at Shake Shack. This popular chain started out as a hot dog cart in Madison Square and reinvents fast food classics such as hotdogs and burgers. Their Theatre District outlet is walking distance from Broadway’s major theatres, and has floor-to-ceiling windows with great views. Recommended eats include the ShackBurger, an all-natural cheeseburger with freshly-ground Angus beef, lettuce, tomato and a secret sauce; and the Shack-cago Dog, a frankfurter topped with relish, onion, cucumber, pickle, tomato, celery and mustard. Club these with Shake Shack’s special ale (brewed by the Brooklyn Brewery) or their exclusive red and white wines from Napa Valley. Finally, cool off with their creamy frozen custards.
