Etawah Safari Park may open its doors for tourists this October

If all goes well, the Etawah Safari Park in Chambal Beas may open its doors for the public in October this year. The authorities have already started preparatory work to accomplish the task. According to news reports, the Uttar Pradesh Forest Minister Dara Singh Chauhan, visited the park and planted Panchavati trees (Banyan, Amalaki, Ashoka, Bael and Pipal). He assured the public visitors that preparations are underway to open the park in October.
Reportedly, the Forest Minister examined the Deer Safari, Bear Safari, Leopard Safari and Lion Safari at the Safari Park. The minister was on his first visit to the safari park, and spent a good amount of time in inspecting the preparations. He praised the brilliant construction and grandeur of the Etawah Safari Park and appreciated the Spanish architect Frank Biddle to the skies.

Chauhan, reportedly, said that that the zoo authorities are making attempts to remove the necessity of the number of cubs. Guides will be employed to help tourists get appropriate knowledge about the safari. However, these guides shall be sourced locally, and only the ones having full awareness of the safari park shall be hired for the job.
The Etawah Safari Park is situated at a driving distance of 2 hours from Agra, 5 hours from New Delhi, and 3 hours from Lucknow. Its construction began in May 2012 on a highly tough terrain, a project that was full of bumps. It took a lot of hard work and patience to fructify this dream project of the former UP government.
