Hike to get deeper into the jungles! Make your legs pump fresh air into your lungs. Penang Hill is not just a cool retreat, but also offers a peek into its curated forest through this unique facility. From the moment you enter its gates, you will be greeted with peculiar leafy plantations under a dense woody cover, beautiful butterflies, bright colors through its various red, yellow and purple gardens, and the aromas of nature through its fragrant garden. Besides, the ginger grove is a unique concept to showcase the flowers of culinary ginger.
Tips: From the Central Square of Penang Hill, walk past the Hindu temple of Sri Aruloli Thirumurugan to visit this place of interest. The Habitat is open on all days, except Wednesdays, between 9:30 AM and 6 PM. Guided tours start every 30 min and cost RM 20 per person. Plan for a 90 min tour to this place. For wet conditions, carry a disposable rain coat. Beware; rains may impact the extent and quality of your nature trail.
