The Historic Centre is the place where all the action takes place. It is the place where the whole town literally meets, i.e., tourists and locals alike. You will see bands playing music or dancers dressed in brightly coloured dresses performing on the streets. The walk around the surrounding area, which is car free, is truly magnificent. Be warned that souvenir vendors trying to sell their goods can sometimes be annoying. Carry your camera to catch some amazing shots of the people and of the view from the area.
