This is one of a kind in South Goa. Cola's sandy beach is separated by salty ocean on one side and a coastal lagoon on the other. The word 'picturesque' gets a new definition here. If you are not too fond of dunking in the salt water, you can simply opt for the lagoon and yet enjoy views of oceanic waves. Cola offers a few huts to sleep overnight. These may not be the cheapest in Goa, but if you want secluded time with nature, do make a reservation. Cola is not the usual party destination. However, if you are organizing a private party or event, Cola's size is a perfect fit. All said, it is within an easy driving distance from the more popular destinations of Palolem and Agonda. So if you want to leave the crowd behind for a while, you can come here for a day out in the wilderness. Lastly, if you are not staying here overnight, try to hit the highway before it gets dark.
