Put your most comfortable shoes on, for now, we will take the ascent to the Castle Hill. Do remember that the hike is quite steep, but you will be equally compensated with the views en route and on the top of course! For those of you who can’t climb, take heart, as there is an elevator that takes you to the top almost. The hike in itself is quite remarkable with dense greenery and an artificial waterfall, a befitting reward for every ounce of your sweat. When on top, don’t be surprised, for you won’t be offered much of a castle, but one hell of a view instead. The hill offers the most spectacular panoramic view of Baie des Anges, Old Nice and the port. I urge you to be present in the moment, for the panorama is one of a kind. Atop you will also find parks/playgrounds ideal for a lazy picnic lunch or for your kids to play or for you to bask in the friendly winter sun.
