A tour of the majestic Laxmi Vilas Palace should be the first thing in your travel itinerary. This palace is known to be about four times as large as Great Britain’s Buckingham Palace spreading across an area of about 700 acres. The members of the royal family of Vadodara, the Gaekwads still live in this grand abode. Many other buildings are included in the palace complex such as the LVP Banquets and Conventions, Moti Baug Palace and the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum building. Tourists can go in for a nice audio tour with free drink and snack which is included in the ticket price.
