Founded in 1987 near Johannesburg, this café is in 1300 locations worldwide and has two outlets in Delhi-one in Vasant Kunj and the other one in Connaught Place. Famous for its Peri-Peri flame grilled chicken, Nando’s offers variety with Lemon and Herb, medium, hot and extra hot peri-peri marinades. Its Peri-O-Meter lets you decide how spicy you want your food to be. The menu also offers burgers, pitas, wraps and salads. The waiters inside Nando’s are called Patrao (Portuguese) which is an informal way of addressing the staff and puts you at ease once you enter the cafe. Their popular Peri-Peri sauces are imported from South Africa. Being a café, it has a casual dining approach. Nando’s, in India, has increased its variety of vegetarian dishes, almost 40 per cent of the menu. Consider their peri-o-meter before gorging on the food.
