A clean, rustic restaurant and bakery on Decatur Square
Talk of the town: There's lots of buzz about 'Sunday supper', when the chef serves a separate menu based on what's in his garden.
Like all good seasonally propelled restaurants, the menu at Cakes & Ale changes as often as daily. One mainstay is the arancini, and if gnocchi, pork ribs, or scallops are on the menu, you're in luck. Next door at the bakery, David Sweeney is at the helm of a cafe serving lunch, coffee, breads, pastries, and delectable desserts.
