Bangkok's top destination for live jazz and blues, Saxophone Pub has been drawing world-class musicians to play on its stage nightly since 1987. Split over two floors, this ramshackle joint attracts everyone from local music-lovers to expat regulars through its doors, all eager to stake their claim on a bird's-eye view from the mezzanine level.

Jazz reigns supreme from Monday to Wednesday and blues and reggae take over from Thursday to Sunday. As a rule, the music begins at 9pm, but given that this place is usually packed to the rafters, it's best to arrive as early as you can.
