The latest show is historic as it has participants not just from Karnataka but other states like Goa, Maharashtra and North East as well. The 203rd edition honours renowned horticulturists Gustav Hermann Krumbiegel (marking his 150th birth anniversary) and Dr M. H. Marigowda (marking his birth centenary). Moreover this time, instead of the usual cut flowers, a whopping nine lakh saplings (planted just three months ago) bloom at different vantage points. Traditionally, the show happens in the Glass House and Band Stand, but in the recent one, myriad flowers can be seen at Kempegowda Tower, Director’s Campus, DHO Lawn, Tree Fossil area and Java Fig area. If you love flowers, make sure you keep your date with the blooms!
