This is one of my favorite places to go from Vienna. Schloss is translated to castle, but this is not an ordinary castle. Once the home of the Habsburg dynasty, today it is a major public centre, where various events take place. This is a place where you can get married or simply walk your dog. Here you will find man-made ponds and moats which were built in the 1800s. There are a few paths to walk depending on how much effort you want to put in. Signs are dotted along to explain its historical importance, and you can take a small boat ride outside the castle. This place is great for photographers.
