Malmaison Glasgow

It was once a Greek Orthodox Church and now stands as a hotel, located a few blocks from the city centre and offering guests an option of a unique mid-range hotel. It has kept much of its charm with the wrought iron railings and winding staircase, stained glass windows and glass roof atrium. The rooms vary in size and décor, some being quite small with just a double bed while the suites are large and spacious. The décor here is modern, with graffiti looking paintings and a dark royal purple color throughout. An excellent bar is housed downstairs where mixologists are on hand to whip up cocktails and a DJ is frequently spinning. The restaurant is open for breakfast in the morning and, many a times, is included with your room stay, and opens for dinner where a great menu is presented. Staff members are friendly, Wi-Fi is free and it’s not every day you can stay overnight in a church.
