Dubrovnik has plenty of things to do. But it is also geographically conducive to a number of day trips. Day trip options range from hour long drives to four hour long ferry rides. Choose one that suits the time you have in hand.
Some of our favourite day trips from Dubrovnik include drives to other cities and towns in Croatia. Here historical buildings, national parks and coastal drives combine to provide visitors with a day trip experience worth remembering. It is also possible to hop over to a neighbouring country—Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro are both a short drive away from Dubrovnik. Both countries offer historically rich towns and cities just waiting to be explored. If you’re not keen on history and culture, then an Adriatic beach town is always at hand.
