Located in the historic seventh ward district on North Broad Street, Prime Example is slightly away from the overwhelming bustle of Frenchmen Street, and the French Quarter, which is probably a good backdrop for some authentic New Orleans jazz. The place has a cosy, homely vibe to it with slot machines and casual furniture. But the main attraction is of course the Real Crescent City musicians who perform throughout the week. It also has a pool table and multiple bars scattered around the premises, and a beautiful stage. Coincidentally, the place also dishes up some fabulous Creole fare, especially gumbo and red beans, with rice.
