A chilled out bar serving everything from authentic Italian staples to traditional Japanese fare (with a modern twist), Koba is a place to let your hair down and treat your ears to some great music. A rather inconspicuous establishment, Koba is for those people who love their drinks, and know them like the back of their hand. With an exceptionally chatty owner who always has excellent recommendations up his sleeve, both in terms of food and hard rock, this eatery is a must visit for those travelling around Hiroshima. The prices are dirt cheap when compared to the other pubs and the atmosphere is so addictive that you might just end up making two to three trips to this place.

The pizza served here is fantastic, and Koba’s signature Chilli Carbonara will certainly knock your socks off. Their Teriyaki Chicken receives equal amounts of love and so do the many rounds of gin and tonic. Additionally, the rock memorabilia adorning its walls add more character to this bar. If you are someone who loves dim lights, casual seating, truckloads of noise and amicable servers who want to ensure that you have a good time, this pub is just the right place for you.
