Be prepared to climb up a fleet of stairs if you want to reach Lord Hanuman’s statue. It is worth the effort as the hilltop offers a spectacular view of the Kanchenjunga peak on a clear day. You can also see the neighbouring Sikkim and the beautiful Lava and Kafer hills on a bright sunny day.
Hanuman Tok is about 5 km from Kalimpong town and the drive is hassle-free. Taxi drivers are well versed with this area hence they know where to park the car and let you enjoy the views and click pictures.
Tip: Spend some time here, have tea or coffee and capture memories in your camera.
