Cismigiu park is an “English garden” with romantic inspiration that is reflected upon its furniture and details―organic bridges resembling trees and fountains camouflaged as rocks just to name a couple. There are a variety of trees and flowers arranged in several gardens and alleys in the 16 hectares of expanse, complete with a charming lake to recreate picturesque views. Branches leaning over the water on the foreground and ducks happily dipping in the lake offer a good opportunity for a memorable shot.
Along the cozy alleys of Cismigiu Gardens there are long lines of benches that in summer create an interesting overview of humanity, with tourists, local student and the homeless standing one next to the other independently of their social status. During the warm months it's possible to rent a leisure boat to roam around the lake that is transformed into an ice skating park during winter. Take a walk under the pergola, stop to listen to the orchestra playing from the small open air stage or sit in the floating restaurant to finish your visit and have a memorable experience.
