Great Ocean Road
An amazing scenic stretch of road along the coast of Victoria, the Great Ocean Road runs for over 200 miles and the views along the way are amazing regardless of what time of the year you embark on the drive. While travelling along the road, there are several stops where you can take pictures, have a bite to eat, or even sit down for a chilled beer.
Kakadu National Park
For those who love the great outdoors, the Kakadu National Park is a must see. Heading into the main entrance about 153 km east from Darwin, the park has a vast variety of wildlife, habitats, and rock-art sites. Some of the country’s best Aboriginal rock art can be found here.
Tasmania
With amazing beaches, breathtaking mountains and beautiful blue lagoons known for their wildlife and amazing beauty, Tasmania is a destination that people go to when they want to get away from it all. In addition, the area is rich in history and culture—which blend seamlessly.
Kangaroo Island
For those who love the outdoors, Kangaroo Island is another superb choice. A third of the island is a National Park where you can see many species of flora, fauna, and wildlife indigenous to Australia. When you’re heading to the land down under, don’t miss out on these amazing sights.
