Cheery wine bar, great for a mid-shopping pit-stop
Word to the wise: The bar does often close early, depending on season, so is best visited during the day.
This small enoteca stands out because of a comprehensive wine list, personally selected by the passionate and knowledgable owner. Aside from the expected Soaves and Pinot Grigios, there are some great New World labels, particularly the Chilean Pinot Gris.
Prices range from reasonable to expensive for the special vintage bottles, so do check before ordering, and there are often 'Wines of the Month' on offer, which are cheaper to purchase by the bottle to take away. Despite Italy being famous for its grapes, it's surprisingly hard to find a good wine bar in Venice, so this place is fast gaining a reputation as one of the best.
