Nestled in Delhi's most expensive residential area, it's no surprise Khan Market has long been a favourite haunt of Delhi's well-to-do. More a compact, high-end retail district than a traditional market, the area isn't anything flashy, but that's not to say its patrons aren't - don't be surprised to see local women teetering down litter-strewn lanes in sparkly Louboutins, or stuffing purchases into a Birkin bag. Retail therapy with Delhi's eliteWord to the wise: Avoid heading here at the weekend if possible. Khan Market is small and the lanes get very, very busy on Saturday and Sunday.
Popular plate: Chocolate bars are something of a thing in Khan Market - sample a few choice truffles at Chokola (Shop 67A).

Between the bridal, jewellery, book and stationary stores, it's worth seeking out trusted Indian retail outlets such as Good Earth, Anokhi and Fabindia. There's also no lack of restaurants and cafes in Khan Market, and thanks in part to the sizeable expat population, you'll also find several "fancy" grocery stores selling everything from organic fruit to Italian pasta sauces.
