India's biggest mosque
Built in the 1650s by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the man behind the Taj Mahal, this architectural marvel lies west of the Red Fort and is capable of accommodating 25,000 faithful in its enormous courtyard.
The mosque is accessible from three different gates, however the north gate (number 3) is its main entrance. Nearby is a cupboard containing some of Mohammed's relics, including a Quaran written on deer skin.
