Delhi’s most glorious Mughal spectacle
One of Delhi's three UNESCO-listed sites, Humayun's Tomb is a Persian-style sandstone masterpiece built in 1570.
If this impressive structure reminds you of the Taj Mahal, that's probably because not only does it have many similar features - the bulbous dome, the high arches - but it is also widely believed that it was a prototype for the Taj, which was built later between 1632-1653.
