Russians have embraced wireless technology and Moscow is probably one of the best connected cities in Europe. Free WiFi can be found all over the city centre – and even in the metro stations.
Only a tiny minority of bars and restaurants do not have it, most of the city’s parks are connected and they are even installing a free WiFi network for the nation's long distance trains.
Sometimes WiFi connections will require a password, in which case you need to ask someone – ‘mozhna parol’.
