Should you find yourself in need of an uber-quick bite while hopping around Atlanta, stop at a Chick Fil-A. This is one drive-thru fast-food joint that appeals to the same customers who frequent the city's fine dining establishments, and locals with even the most discerning taste buds will be there.
Plus, it may satiate your need for Southern fried chicken. The best plates are ever-so-lightly breaded and fried (although there is a delicious grilled sandwich as well), and placed on a buttered bun with pickles. The Northside Parkway location in Buckhead is listed, although the original 1946 location is south of the city and a landmark in itself.
