Home Guard

The Home Guard is an Indian paramilitary police force. It is a voluntary force, tasked as an auxiliary to the State police. The Home Guard was reorganised in 1962 after the war with China.

Home Guards are recruited from various cross sections of the civil society, who give their spare time for betterment of the community. All citizens of India, in the age group of 18-50, are eligible.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is expected to release the UP Home Guard Result 2026 soon on its official website. The results are awaited after the completion of the answer key objection review process. Candidates who appeared for the April examination will be able to download their scorecards online using their roll numbers.

The UP Home Guard recruitment result for 2026 is anticipated soon on the official website. Candidates who appeared for the written exam from April 25 to April 27 can check their scores. The provisional answer key was released, and objections were accepted until May 10. The final result is expected in late May or early June.
