At 7.35am on Thursday, May 28, an Air India Express flight from Riyadh landed at Calicut International Airport carrying a man whose return Kerala had waited years to see.

Abdul Rahim, 45, from Feroke in Kozhikode district, was coming home after nearly two decades in a Saudi prison.
