Domestic manufacturer Boat has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of company’s first Type-C charging smartwatch lineup. The company has launched Storm Call 4 and Ultima Vogue 2 smartwatches in the country. The new devices allow users to charge their smartwatches with the same USB Type-C cable used for smartphones, laptops, tablets, and power banks, eliminating the need for proprietary magnetic docks. By adopting Type-C charging, boAt aims to simplify the wearable experience and reduce clutter for consumers. As USB Type-C becomes the global standard across electronics, boAt is extending this convenience to wearables for the first time in India.
