Rising tennis star Krish Patel flying high

AHMEDABAD: One player who has been consistently doing well on the tennis courts of Gujarat is young Krish Patel. He is one player who will figure in the list of winners, earlier in U-12 category and in U-14 category these days.
Living up to the expectations, Krish once again showed why he is rated to highly. Hitting sizzling form, the youngster scripted two upset wins to clinch the boys U-14 title in AITA Talent Series Tournament which was held in Surat.
After finding his way through, in the final, the Sahjanand Primary School student played supreme tennis to toppled Aryan Zaveri of Vadodara 8-4 easily to lay his hands on the trophy.
Earlier in the quarterfinal, Krish, who trains at Ahmedabad Racquet Academy, simply thrashed Nitya Nanavaani 7-0. The superiorty was such that Krish did not drop a single game against Nitya.
He continued to roll over by edging out second seed Kushan Shah 7-3 in the semifinal. Krish took his solid form into the final where he was hardly troubled. With his current form, it looks like Krish is flying high.
