“When you know, you know”: Russell Wilson’s Wife Ciara Revealed That She Knew Wilson Was The One After Their First Date

Ciara revealed in an interview with Kelly Clarkson on The Kelly Clarkson Show that she knew Russell Wilson was the one after their first date, revealing her understanding of their intended relationship. The couple married in a secluded ceremony at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England, on July 6, 2016, attended by their close family and friends.

Ciara reflected on her first date with Russell Wilson

Ciara and her husband, Russell Wilson, have been crowned "couple goals" for their heartwarming love story. Ciara shared the moving backstory of their enduring romance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show," reflecting on her first date with the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback. Their wholesome and heartwarming love story has been widely praised. “When you know, you know,” Ciara told Clarkson. “From day one, we sat down, we talked. It’s so funny, ‘cause we always laugh about the first time we met. We were talking too long and having such a good time, and in such great conversation, we forgot to eat.”

“He told his friend in the elevator going down, ‘She’s the one,’” she said, explaining how the two have since shared their post-first-date stories with one another. “I called my best friend, Yolie, who’s my matron of honor, my makeup artist for legitimately 24 years [and] I said, ‘Yolie, I don’t want to jinx anything, but I think…’ And she goes, ‘He’s the one?’ And I go, ‘Yes.’”

Wilson and Ciara have three children, including a son named Win Harrison, daughters Sienna Princess and Amora Princess, and a son named Future Zahir with rapper Nayvadius DeMun Cash, who is also known as Future. “We were all in the house together. My dad was in the living room, Future was crawling on the floor, and there was a silver chair in the kitchen, and it was about to fall,” said the Ciara said. "[Wilson] legit slid across that kitchen, so smooth, and caught that chair, and I was like, ‘Oh, OK,'” Ciara said laughing. “I mean, it was pretty sexy, but it was pretty cute.”
