Taylor Swift and
Travis Kelce were spotted in the Bronx watching baseball at Yankee Stadium during Game 1 of the American League Championship Series between the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians. The couple was in a suite down the right-field line, above postseason bunting and a flag commemorating the Yankees' 1932 World Series championship.

The Cleveland Guardians and New York Yankees will face off in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series, with a star-studded audience expected. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his girlfriend Taylor Swift will be in attendance at Yankee Stadium. Kelce, a Cleveland Heights native, is a longtime supporter of the Guardians, having even thrown out the ceremonial first pitch for them in 2023.
Cleveland's Kelce hopes the Guardians' pitching staff has more control as they advance to the ALCS for the first time since 2016. The team beat the Detroit Tigers in five games in the divisional series, but ultimately fell to the Chicago Cubs. The Guardians are aiming to defeat the Yankees, who beat the Kansas City Royals in four games to advance to the championship series. Cleveland's Chiefs have a strong start to the season, currently 5-0. Kansas City will return in a Super Bowl rematch against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. Kelce, who had a slow start, has put together solid games with 228 receiving yards on 24 receptions.
Kelce and Swift, both have baseball ties. Kelce was a strong performer on the diamond, while Swift performed the National Anthem at the World Series and the "Star Spangled Banner" in 2008 during the Phillies' Fall Classic against the Rays. Baseball was the "backup plan" if football wasn't successful for Kelce. Swift is on a brief break from touring and her next show is scheduled for October 18 in Miami. Kelce has the weekend off to fly to New York. The Chiefs have a bye in Week 6 and are one of two teams without a loss, with Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and team at 5-0 heading into Week 7.
